Offering: HRC DYMAG 3.00 x 16 inch brand new lightweight magnesium/alloy FRONT rim / wheel with floating discs 272 mm.
This size and type of rim was OEM fitment in the first Honda RS 250 2-stroke production racing bike from 1984, not many were produced and raced in the 1984 season. It also was a front fitment on the VRF 400 Formula 2 and a chassis tuning option on the VFR750 HRC Formula 1 racekit 1984 and 1985. The rim was an exclusive tuning part for the HRC line-up in the period 1984 - 1986.
In 1985, the Honda Comstar type rims , 18 inch front and rear, were mounted in the renewed RS250. From 1986, the reknown Honda 5-spoke magnesium alloy rims got in use on the RS250, 17 inch front , 18 inch rear ( 1986 and 1987) or 17 inch rear ( from 1988).
The rim and brake discs ( forged steel, 5mm thickness, 272 mm diameter) are in excellent , brand new condition, all threads and mounts are OK. The paint is original and the rim is not detoriated in any way or manner by the time, it has been saved very well. It can be safely used on the mentioned bikes and can be used for riding or racing demonstrations. A used Avon 120/70-16 AM21 soft is now mounted for storage on my TZ350. Bridgestone or Pirelli classic racing tyres can be used very well on this 3.00 x 16 front rim.
